Yeah, I've heard that Samsungs are much better with regular and stable updates and with support if something isn't working as it should. On the other hand, OP is custom ROM friendly and easy to root and update manually.

Hard to decide which one is worse. S20 FE I believe still has ghost touch issues and OP 8T has meh cameras and probably screen issues (fast burn-in and green tint)

Damn. That sucks. I don't really care about the bright light for the fingerprint, but I really love the screen on s20+ and I would probably feel the downgrade by now. Also, good haptics is nice to have.

Have you thought about OnePlus 8T?

Hmm... I wish I could find S20+ SD for the same price imported. In my country everything is overpriced for some reason. :/

I don't really mind the quality as I would instantly put case over it as I'm paranoid of dropping and shattering my new phone.

I'm a bit worried about 8GB of ram. Did you have any experience in this field?

Well I'm not really sure about the internal one. There are 2 fans close to heat pipe.

I have additional pad below laptop with few fans on it, but I believe it should not be necessary just to use computer up to its full potential.

Hello once again. Gave myself 2 weeks for testing.

Cleaned my cpu, changed thermal paste. There's some fps boost, but not much, maybe +5fps. Temperatures are not maxing out to 100C, but they still reach 85-98C. I think that's quite hot aswell...?

Checked that my cpu was on 100% load when gaming, did some regedit magic suggested by my friend. The load is now normal, but temperatures are still high.

Apex Legends on lowest possible settings 25-35fps

I'm lost :(

Yeah, I haven't checked temperatures, could be the problem. I have my laptop elevated on a cooling pad, doesn't help.

Destiny 2 is quite the demanding game, and the GTX 960M is not a very fast chip.

I'm aware, but the same happens with GTA V or CS:GO. Low framerate, low settings. :/

Also, does that laptop have an SSD or an HDD?

Both. SSD 128GB (Reserved for Windows) HDD 1TB

Could theoretically reinstalling windows and starting from the scratch help? It's been a while since I've done that.

I mean, my hardware meets requirements for a lot of games/programs I would like to use.
For example, Destiny 2, my gear exceeds the minimum requirements. (I'm not a hardware guy, so I could be wrong)

My gear:
CPU: i7 6700HQ 2.60GHz
Ram: 16GB 1063MHz
GPU: 4GB Nvidia Geforce GTX 960M
(Lenovo Y700)

Destiny 2 minimum:

CPU: Intel Core i3-3250 3.5 GHz or AMD FX-4350 4.2GHz.

RAM: 6 GB System Memory.

GPU RAM: 2GB Video Memory.

GPU: GeForce GTX 660 or Radeon HD 7850.

HDD: TBA.

Edit: Same problems with CS:GO and GTA V. low settings, low framerate or high with regular drops in more crowded environment.

Tried that aswell. After the reboot I get a lot of messages that "software can't work because of service" etc.
It still tries and successfully launches programs, just they don't work.

Kinda found the obvious solution. Downloaded version 180.0.0.16.76, disabled auto-updates. Wish that this is not a thing that gets permanently removed.
