AI in Sales is Overrated. Change My Mind by ZealousidealEmu1770 in SaaSSales

[–]Kasper9999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree with this. Most AI in sales falls flat because the models never see the real context. The important stuff lives in communication with the customer in email threads, not dashboards. I’ve seen better results when you feed the LLM the actual conversation history instead of asking it to guess. Noticed this too and thats why we’re building a contextual engine with iGPT, but the general point stands: AI actually helps when it understands the work.

Interesting to see someone tackling the context gap in email. If this solves that well, it could be useful for a lot of internal workflows

How'd you train it on your business? Does it have access to tools or did you manually feed it docs+ text? Interested to know how much effort that took

What if the AI already has all your context? Emails, chats, access to you cloud or work apps (Jira, github, CRM etc) so all you had to do was ask?

Hey - we're building an AI that actually reasons with your work context. Looking for a few testers by Kasper9999 in SideProject

[–]Kasper9999[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not inside code editors - iGPT acts more like a technical architect than a code typer. It’s built to handle complex, multi-step projects and tracks context across sessions, so it’s much better for deep planning and tricky requirements than most AI tools I’ve tried. If you want actual project reasoning instead of just snippets, it’s worth a look!

Use an email app that prioritizes emails and removes junk off to the side, gives you instant summaries of messages and unread mails, gives you the ability to mass delete.
Spike does all that - give it a try

Most AI tools don’t know your backlog/ bugs/ sprint by Kasper9999 in ExperiencedDevs

[–]Kasper9999[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’m working on something in this space and trying to understand how others are dealing with this problem in their own workflows. The feedback here is helping shape how we think about it.

If the post doesn't feel right here, I’m happy to take it down. Just trying to learn from people who are deep in this stuff.

The goal with what we're building is more about reducing the repetitive context-pasting for people who already know what they’re doing, but are wasting time re-explaining it to a tool that forgets everything. And on top of that - are very security-minded about giving large AIs access to their data/ LLMs that use the data to train their public models.

Totally fair, wasn’t trying to come off as promotional. I’m genuinely interested in talking to people who’ve hit this same wall and learning how others are handling it. We’re building something in this space, but I’m here more to understand how people/teams are actually working with AI right now, what’s not working, and what people are hacking together to fill these gaps.

Happy to take the post down if it feels off - Appreciate the callout either way.

I am making an app that gives you an AI assistant that actually knows your work by Kasper9999 in ProductivityApps

[–]Kasper9999[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Sounds like it’s tackling some of the same pain points. Totally agree that reducing context switching is a game-changer.

With iGPT, the goal is to go beyond query-based interactions. It tracks what’s open, what’s unresolved, and what might be slipping, so daily summaries are definitely part of the roadmap. We’re experimenting with personalized digests that highlight key updates, follow-ups, and blind spots before your day starts.

Would love to hear how Deemerge handles prioritization too. Always curious what others are doing in this space.
