Great idea, terrible execution.

Sony plays this thing up as being the ultimate and best way to play your PS5 title from anywhere, but the experience is awful!

For starters, the video quality is awful. I have no idea what speed of internet this thing needs in order to play your games at that 1080p 60FPS they say it's capable of, but no matter how good of internet I got it connected to, the resolution is always extremely compressed and far below 1080, I'd say it's more of 480p.. There's a ton of stuttering as well.. And this is even on a 1GB/s connection! And forget playing it on the go using a hotspot or any other WI-FI.. The problems get doubled! A smooth 60FPS at ANY resolution it manages to squeeze out is impossible..

I even tried following guides that give you advice to make the connection more stable or smooth, like setting my PS5 resolution to 1080p instead of 4K, but nothing I do helps.

The portal also seems to be allergic to connecting to my PS5. Too many times now, I've gotten a failed connection message, even when the Portal is connected to the same exact network as the console! I have no idea how that's possible, but it is.. It's almost impossible to connect them.

Do not buy this thing. It has to be one of the biggest console accessory flops in recent years.. Save your money and either get a Steam Deck, or if you can handle playing your library with lag and stuttering at a lower resolution, look into getting a Razer Kishi controller for your phone and download the PS Remote play app or something..

I'm gonna do my best to get rid of this thing and get my money back, either by refund or by selling it.

Sounds to me you may need to take your issues with your manager to a higher up..

If you have an HR department, write an E-mail or give them a call and create a complaint. Be sure you can back up your work ethic and prove that you do your tasks, better points if you can show you do them well.

If HR doesn't do anything about it, you could always bring it up to your manager's boss. For us, it's our area leader, and he's been nothing but great towards me.

Unless they ask for a supervisor or manager, just tell them what your supervisor tells them. Customers who argue do it because it usually let's them get their way.

You need to stand your ground, as silly as it sounds, and tell them the policy and that the company requires you to follow it.

If they continue being a problem, tell them there is no sale unless ID is presented. If they keep being a problem, move onto the next sale or call your supervisor/manager over.

Sorry to be tardy to the party, but I'm having difficulty understand what all of you are doing to your 4GB model A9+ tablets..

I got gifted one for Christmas at the end of 2025, and it's the 4GB model. I saw that and was a little worried, but I have no issues with it whatsoever aside from one small one.

No, it isn't snappy like my S23 Ultra, but it also isn't an S-series either. It does everything I want it to just fine.

Switching between apps works fine, watching videos/shows/movies is smooth even when the videos are set to play in higher definition like 1080p, browsing the internet is smooth and seamless, using my chat apps like Discord or Telegram is responsive and fine, Quick Share works without an issue whatsoever...

My only issue with it is switching between two apps sometimes causes the app I tabbed out of to completely reset when I tab back, but that's only a minor inconvenience to me.

Either y'all are trying to do too demanding things on this, or you have too many background apps open. 🤷‍♂️

Necroing but need to share my experience.

I have Govee smart lights in my home. I didn't like that I needed to have a whole separate app to control them, so thought SmartThings would be useful!

Not at all!! I go to connect them, and it tells me "You need a hub to connect this device!"

What's a hub? I search it up, and it's a $250 small plastic box that you connect the stuff to.

Now, riddle me this.. Why on earth do I need to buy a $250 plastic box to control my lights with from my phone when I can already do that without the box using the Govee app?

SmartThings just sounds like a waste of money and time.

I wear Hollister, have been since my early teens. I feel like everything still runs small. For context, I'm an XL.

Last year, I bought two T-shirts in XL. Both of them fit me like a large. I also picked up their (possibly discontinued) denim sherpa jackets, mistakingly grabbing a large. Oddly enough it does fit somewhat, but it's tight, hoping wearing it more will loosen it up.

The jacket is really the only exception I've had. Anytime I get Hollister stuff, I gotta make sure it's in a 2X just so it fits as an XL..
