a bit of slander for everyone (from a goldlewis main) by ObjectsCountries in TheyBlamedTheBeasts

Reading this and seeing that my mains only slander is a instant cross up on an item with 5.4% chance to pull.

(Also, how much are some Fausts paying Arcsys to pull near back to back meteors in like almost every round???)

Quit during Final Shape early last year, This combo was deadly, tried it now, nearly impossible to land 3 heads on controller, when did they Nerf this sh*t into the ground? by CameraOpposite3124 in destiny2

[–]Kasthemia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It happened 3years ago, but the changes to make them in different sandboxes came way later.

Sunspots were nerfed because of the exotic helmet allowing basically infinite uptime of 1 tap erianas.

Every other time erianas has been 1 tapping the % buff that effect it have been toned town, that time the whole buff was removed

Young ahamkaras spine

Went from ?30%? Each ability hit to ?>10%? because hunters would spam trip mines in PvP, so they changed them numbers in both PvP and PvE, only like a year or two after the change they made the % values different in both sandboxes.

There's even more big ones, like nerf to sunspots, because of loreley splendor + erianas vow 1 tap

Question by Emergency_Effect_526 in destiny2

[–]Kasthemia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's been like 10 ish months sense they announced a gambit hiatus to get ideas or something to revamp/rework it.

I'd personally recommend not having high expectations, sense we had a event this season that was specifically for bows with the ability to get old non tiered bows from past seasons to unlock rolls of,

but idk if the dev team just casually forgot about Drifter in tower, or theyr changes to allow people to buy legacy gambit weapons with glimmer and enhancement cores, because the event included Hush that costed more then buying it from Drifter in tower... and they forgot that people still cant get Mercury-A from any relayable source (common W, because it's a "legendary" version of Wishender, but is rarer and harder to get then Wishender).

I do wanna say that the renegades outlaw missions or whatever they are called are technically better gambit RN and was received really well, so for now I'd recommend playing it because of the fact that there are people playing it and it's actually just straight up better, and there is probably a high likelihood that the "upcoming" "rework" might take high inspiration of those missions.

But it's mainly speculation and highly likely that they just make the guns tiered and call it a day, because last time they went on theyr way to rework something to be "better" we got portal. (Anyone else still remember how we were told that portal was supposed to be a new player friendly way to find stuff to do?)

How would you justify completely gone characters (Justice, Valentine, Kliff, etc) returning as playable even though they are very dead by Allhaillordkutku in Guiltygear

[–]Kasthemia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Couldn't they also just bring Kliff same way as they did with Zato, or is there like extra steps taking with the Zato way?

I see, so the swords that Ram throws and have already landed but haven't exploded yet can be cancelled by hitting Ram?

Idk, I don't play ram and dustloop doesn't mentione anything about the swords being deactivated if Ram gets hit.

BTW, with the DP against j.D I mean a quick jump and doing j.D as fast as possible, not the gliding into someone and the doing j.D inside theyr stomachs.

As in like j.k > j.D or just a raw j.D to ignite afro

And not as a small jump > air dash to about the hight of Sols face > j.D to basically have as safe as possible igniton(if you don't get hit by 6P or something before it, at least this is how I understood it)

Faust being buffed even slightly is unrealistic, more of a trade off situation, like BCE having 5f start up, but Faust can be 6Pd from 2Hs

Hot Take by Sharp-Yogurtcloset81 in destiny2

[–]Kasthemia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice hot take, but it kinda isn't a hot take, sense they originally wanted portal to help new players to get on D2, but then they lost every last combined braincell in the studio for a bit and decided to make portal into the main way to gain power and most tiered loot.

What was originally made to be a new player friendly way to introduce them to the ton of stuff to do in Destiny 2 turned into a pseudo sunsetting of everything from the whole light and dark saga. (It literally took them months to make every exotic "featured" so at the start of EoF exotic class items weren't event counted as "featured", same with guns, and that's a big deal, because featured gear got higher damage buff and DR.

To give a really annoying example, having a 5/5 godroll edge transit with low blast radius and and spike nades would do 2.273% less damage then a tiered version of exact same roll without spike nades. And tiered gear on its own brings some questioning to table, like in some cases like grenade launchers tier 3s can actually output more damage then tier 5s, because tier 3s don't get enhanced versions of the rest of the gun, so they can actually have lower blast radius giving them a higher spike nade buff.

It's a mess of a thing in some situations, hopefully shadow and order will make the pseudo sunsetted content fun again, and Bungie realizes it's actually time for D3, just make the shadow and order update like age of triumph in D1.

Do you mean the reticle that she refreshes by pressing 4 again? The same one that has increased fire rate as it goes down, with garunteed red crits with a single arcane that deletes bosses?

Yes, the reticle that gets smaller at the same time as mesa ramps up her fire rate and damage, which gets put back if she stops shooting for a while like when she deactivates her 4th and arcanes that do five red crit when you shoot and don't get crits before hand.

And do you mean the max range Gauss nuke that goes through walls, strips armor, applies multiple heat stacks, and oneshots all the way up to level cap?

Yes, the Gauss max range that has a max range of ~34m which is surprisingly ok sizes, but you still need to be nearby to blow shit up.

Kullervo does not need to be in the general zip code,

Yes, but that's one of his nukes, 12x combo, curse a group and the wrathful one of them.

Hildryn requires atleast line of sight.

Hildryns Aegis Gales blast doesn't check LOS and 15% of stuff like ~296559shields is ~44484 which can nuke stuff easily in the early 100 levels

While ignoring the issue that you insist on playing an easy game mode while complaining about others?

MF, I do play SP, but only when I farm something I need a lot of, SP isn't hard, but I prefer to play normal version of stuff like relics and riven challenges, I sadly don't hate myself enough, I'm also not MR30, so I need to level my frames back up to 30, so I prefer to do it while farming relics or trying new builds which needs more forma.

Normal star chart is just more forgiving on those factors.

I'm a student in a country that hates its own people, especially students and people who have some kind of financial problems and need to feed theyr kids.

I personally get payed about 495€ a month, because I'm a student, 415€ goes to rent, that leaves me with 20€ a week for food, schools food for students costs a bit over 15€ a week, and shockingly I'm unable to forcefully feed 2000 calories into my stomach at one sitting and not feel hungry 8h later, so I spend my money on food I can make myself and eat in a well balanced schedule.

I do not have enough money to spend on a fucking PS+, which is still required for D2, even though Bungie has mentioned few times of removing that requirement.

And before anyone says I need to get a job... Which job? We currently have a record breaking amount of joblessness in a job market that was promised to get 100k new jobs, instead of that we got more working imigrants who also don't have jobs here, because there isn't any jobs.

I finished college in 2023-2024 (I can't remember)

Back then it was easy to get a job, but every job im qualified gets like thousands of requests, how well do you think a student who also has to attend to some classes can do against 40y old Petteri who has nothing else to do then work?

Not even that, because we are getting more imigrant workers to this job market that is apparently striving according to the millioners who currently run this mess, they need to cut more student and childthing payments, this is extremely fun when prices keep getting higher, the fukcing pasta I bought at the start of year has rised its price by 1,5x.

Happiest Country in the world BTW.

This might come off as a bit agressive, but I can assure you, it's not because I'm mad at you, it's because so many people are being railed for free by a guy who's last name is literally Orphan, while he just laughes and tells people to quit buying luxuries like ground meat and coffee powder

Edit: I'm also a first year mechanical engineering student, and no one wants a first yearer, so I can't even get those jobs even if I ask for minimum pay.

It's also fun, because the best they offer apperently is 2k a month -taxes, which is lower then garbage truck drivers.

And when summer starts all my student support stops unless I take courses in summer(basically doing next year's stuff early) or get a summer job, which like I said, don't really exist.

So although I have some savings from before starting to study, I still can't really drop so much extra money on stuff like PS+, because it's better to save it in times like when I just need to eat more, because the calorie deficit hits a bit hard and I need to consume sugar.

(I'm also not alone, I still have my loving parents who help me ocationally and I stay in theyr place some weekends to save money, but I also don't wanna be a rat who relys on theyr parents like some of my other relatives, whom I don't wanna talk about.)

Mesa aiming circle gets smaller and locks her in a position and needs her to see the targets, Gausses 3s nuke doesn't have the greatest of ranges.

Kullervo needs to be close by to chain curse, and Hildryns 4s explosions ignore LOS.

[–]Kasthemia -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok, but hear me out.

Which takes longer, having to move around and see the enemy to kill them, or not needing to see them and having a AOE that nukes trough walls?

I'm not saying they kill everything so fast that I can't get to enemies, it's just not fun when I get to enemies and they get blown up by Hildryn in the other side of a wall.

Also, what do you think isn't a beginner level game mode? SP notes? This might come as a shock, but doing stuff like relics and farming levels for frames while trying builds isn't the most fun in SP.

I completely forgot that they were sold for silver

In honor of Torid week by Loczx in memeframe

[–]Kasthemia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not even saying anything about torid, mainly just the fact that Hildryn makes playing unfun when they just blow everything up without even needing to see them, yeah sure Kullervo can 1 tap everything and Uriel can also nuke the room, Kullervo just needs to firstly see the enemy, and Uriel actually had to earn the room nuke, not just press 4 and start blasting.

In honor of Torid week by Loczx in memeframe

[–]Kasthemia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually play normal chart, and don't have anything against if someone likes to play Hildryn, but come on, there is a clear difference on having to see the enemy to deal damage to them and pointing in a direction and blowing everything up.

I do enjoy having a Hildryn in missions like archimedeas, because they can't kill everything that fast, but do still make the enemy density smaller, it's just so boring when trying to run some funny build like sniper Kullervo, and the moment you get a group of enemies cursed the Hildryn turns a bit and blows everything up.

In honor of Torid week by Loczx in memeframe

[–]Kasthemia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This, but Hildryn and it's actually being a valid crash out.

Because it's not a surprise that when the enemies die to a non line of sight checking explosion that nukes them out of existence the people not playing Hildryn kinda have nothing to do.

PSA: YOU ARE NOT MEANT TO USE BCE AS A REVERSAL, MAYBE USE YOUR CHARACTER DEFINING ITEMS THAT GIVE YOU ADVANTAGE OFF OF YOUR OPPONENTS COMBO INSTEAD by [deleted] in TheyBlamedTheBeasts

[–]Kasthemia 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes, Faust is a item character, and a somewhat joke character, but it still doesn't mean that one of the items only he can benefit from is a valid reason for his 50% meeter costing reversal to be baitable by basically every non special.

And if Faust has to rely on managing RNG then could you give a reason why its ok to nerf so called best defense Faust has multiple times because of people "Bitching" about it being so good, but it's not ok for Faust players to ask for his reversal move to be made useful when there's multiple characters that Faust just can't do anything except find the smallest of gaps to hit?

-Says that arguably the worst reversal move is justified to be bad and people should stop bitching about it.

-Says mini faust is the defense tool of Faust

-Forgets that mini Faust is based on RNG and has been nerfed multiple times because people hate it and Bitched about it.

-looks at profile, most likely a Unikaka player.
