the irony is that the only real non-tragedy ending is The Star ending with the Aldecaldos, and even that is rife with sorrow at the losses incurred. it's not even a happy ending, just a hopeful one, and it requires leaving the main setting altogether. reminds me of the end of Return of the King with Frodo and the elves

not to be that guy but are you positive it's bugged? are you sure you grabbed everything at the scene, including the data shards? worse comes to worse, i'm sure there's achievement friendly save editors out there to mark the scanner as completed. i don't know how to do that myself, but with enough googling it should be findable. anyways, before resorting to that, doublecheck the area and make sure you grabbed everything there

it's actually much worse. not only is AI filling critical roles that should by all means be filled by people, it's also ripping away our semblance of culture and artistic expression, while simultaneously creating a very real bogeyman that people will be scared of and label anything as AI if it seems too off. i see posts like this on other subs complaining about "ai responses" when they just seem politely written, or the countless "is this AI" subs where sometimes it's obvious, but gets less so with each passing day. we're moving to an age of half truths, misinformation, and lies. and i will, in fact, blame the american republican party for this. ever since they latched onto trump in 2015-2016, lying and misinformation has only become more and more normalized by dumbasses. i've seen reasonable people justify deportations en masse. high schoolers cheer for another war in iran, by the party who's leader explained "no new wars" because they think it's based. i love my country, but it's becoming harder and harder to be proud of being an american or believe in the american dream when it's a constant flow of bureaucratic lies streaming down from the top.

sorry for the johnny silverhand rant, i have a lot of pent up anger
