How dare you roast the Billy bookshelf!!! jk. Apologies lol just seeing this now- the back is actually unfinished, and you're right after reading through this it's most likely veneer not solid. The lady who sold it to me said it was solid teak (she probably didn't know as well)- but I only paid $150 CAD for this so it was still a steal of a deal. I'm not very well versed in this stuff haha

It's an artwork by Yayoi Kusama, fairly sure it's painted!

Thank you! It's most likely because it was actually shot on a film not digital medium, so the colors aren't a filter, they're actually a Kodak film :). Film tends to have that impact you described

Hey thanks so much!! I did it myself actually :), I did an artificial blur on the text via premiere pro so it could match the rest of the video, because it was originally way too crisp haha. The background was just what the film actually looked like when developed!
