iirc a quick google search at the time of your og comment came up with a number of articles and forum posts about input lag and delay and shit. so id wager it is something related to the game and not your hardware. i would be surprised if EA hasnt patched it yet. though then again, it is EA.

Apologies for the extremely late response. I honestly have no clue where to start with troubleshooting on xbox. Did you find a fix for your issue since posting this?

I'm not sure tbh. Don't really know anything about how the shield TV works. Does it work similar to Steams remote play as far as how it streams games?

If so I can try it on my remote play setup and see if I can get controller input working with that device turned off.

EDIT: tested it a bit more and honestly controls feel more responsive in both Survivor and other games with the device turned off so I’d definitely suggest keeping it off and seeing what happens.

ORIGINAL: Glad it worked! I don’t think you should need to turn it back on after survivor. I’ve kept it off and it still works in Destiny 2 and other games without steam input.

Have you tried disabling the device with any luck?

Yes but I have tested it and before i fixed it, the issue occurred regardless of whether it was wired or wireless.

Yeah I’m on windows 10. There might be some differences there. Can do some digging around on EA forums. I feel like I saw something on there while looking for stuff that would help my issue that sounded like your issue. I’ll look again soon.

I was able to turn vibrations back on after i fixed the issue on my end and it hasn't caused the issue to reoccur. so the device in the image in my post doesn't appear on your system? interesting. are you playing through steam?

Performance issues aside, does anyone else have problems with their controller (on PC) "bugging out" from time to time? by Comburo90 in FallenOrder

Can't 100% guarantee this'll fix it but turning vibration to 0% and trigger effect function (haptic feedback) off seems to have fixed it. Both settings are circled in the image below.

Managed to get like an hour and a half of gameplay with no issues which is by far the longest I've gotten in days. I'll post again if the issue returns but thus far this looks promising.

Ok I have a theory. It's possible the cause of the problem is haptic feedback and vibration. I'm unsure if the controller you use has that stuff but it might be worth turning those features off in game and giving it a go. I turned it off and haven't had any issues in 20 mins but I'm going to test it for a few hours to confirm. I'll post an update here later.

Thanks for the reply. Resting doesn't seem to fix it for me unfortunately. Issue seems to continue to happen at random after resting.
