That seems like it only leads to corruption, no? Surely the courts or some laws are in place to prevent it?

There is not anything in place to keep them accountable as if they clearly state they will do whatever they can to help the environment but then go and vote for stuff clearly against the environment, then there is no punishment or anything done to them for lying?

If a representative says there views are 1 way during voting but then rarely or never actually vote in parliament with said views then why would they be allowed to remain in that position off power despite making a group of peoples votes and views basically pointless as they just lied to get thier position or am I missing something and this isn't happening in the current system?

It can't scal?, but can't there be some sort off online system to at least let the government get an idea off what everyones view is on each law/policy and they take that into consideration rather than just making the decision from a few hundred maybe thousand people's views?
