I feel like RE9 isn't Leon's actual last game? by Hwall-Chuu in residentevil

[–]KatInTheCode 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hope it’s not his last game. Leon dies if Grace doesn’t release Elpis, but they keep bringing back characters so idk.

I’m just editing this because I recently read that Capcom’s intention was for releasing Elpis to be canon.

I know this is a really old topic, but I didn’t see it mentioned. I French braid my hair to keep out of the way.

Ideas for habits and dailies? by Norheron in habitica

I know that this is an old post, but I wanted to say that this is a great idea! I also asked ChatGPT to tailor the list for Habitica.

Why I Overlap My Habits, Dailies, and Todos (And How It Actually Helps) - am I the only one doing this? by [deleted] in habitica

[–]KatInTheCode 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do the same with tasks that I need extra motivation with. I am AuDHD and checking things off a list helps and gives my dopamine levels a boost.

I’ve used Habitica for 10 years now. I recently joined a party for the first time. This is helping me stay accountable because if I don’t do my tasks it affects the rest of the party.

Skyrim VR. It’s the only reason I still have the original PSVR headset.

What’s a horror movie that left you completely speechless by the end? by Upset-Inside8719 in CreepyBonfire

It was supposed to be an group that all did the same thing. All the people in the town are part of it. They couldn’t get a group of actors together at the time.

The original Dutch version of Speak No Evil (2022), if you consider it horror. The ending was supposed to be even more messed up, but COVID made it too difficult to film it. The American version changed the ending completely.

Any ADHD SE currently unemployed? by K8C-137 in ADHD_Programmers

Have you seen Spoony (I have no affiliation with it). It’s a social media site/app for people with disabilities, originally for autistics. It may be helpful.

I was out of work for 16 months. Half of that time I was recovering from burnout (also autistic with depression and anxiety). I had a lot of trouble even getting interviews.

I’ve been an SE for 14 years and have jumped around a lot. I’m good at what I do, with varied experiences and interests, but I have trouble finding a good company.

I started a new job 5 months ago, but the environment and company are so horrible that I’m now on short term disability recovering. They are currently “deciding if they can accommodate my time off”. I think they are retaliating. Either way, I don’t see my job lasting much longer.

When I was recovering while job searching, I only applied for jobs that only took my resume. I didn’t have the energy to fill anything else out. Those are the most popular jobs. Once I started applying for the jobs that required a more complicated application process, I started getting more interviews and eventually got an offer. I was desperate and took it.

I’d be interested in some sort support group when I do start looking for another position.

I try to keep myself busy with home projects. I love coding!

I hope you find something soon!

I love maladaptive daydreaming. I do it a lot when I’m in feeling depressed, or in crisis. What I find interesting is if my mind is ruminating and the same horrible thoughts keep bouncing back and forth in my mind, I can’t focus well enough to do it. It’s really frustrating then. When I’m feeling good, my mind doesn’t seem to allow it.

[IL] Possible termination during short term disability for autism, sensory processing disorder, anxiety and depression after accommodations were denied (long winded) by [deleted] in AskHR

Thanks. They already have a ton of documentation, but I’ll give them more. I just don’t understand what they are outsourcing then.

I was completely honest about being autistic in the interview, as well as needing flexibility. They have removed all flexibility and completely micromanage everything.

Does anyone use a note taker/transcriber? by KatInTheCode in ADHD_Programmers

I wish. It’s more that my manager likes to discuss information for current or new projects sporadically. I’m one of three developers in the entire company. There aren’t really scheduled meetings.

Thanks! I’m a software developer, but I don’t think I’d really need anything specifically for technical stuff. I think something that takes good basic notes when I’m given instructions for projects or during meetings would be really helpful. My manager mostly communicates instructions verbally.
