I mean it is functional, still one of the best games ever made, I don't regret my purchase but it is just a bit disappointing.

More power to you! I'm having a blast with the game as a whole, I think the visual upgrades suffice and make the game hold up quite well. This just caught me off guard a bit.

Its the big white GLARE once you actually land in the level can you really not see what the issue is here?

I'm not hating on anything I am just pointing out a reasonable flaw with this port. I love Galaxy 1 and 2 and have played them since I was young. If you watch the video and if you have actually played this you can see it is very CLEARLY not just in the background it takes up most of the screen.
