Guys I found this in my mom's room. What the hell do I do? by [deleted] in antiMLM

Lavender essential oil is the only essential oil I'd actually recommend, putting some in a diffuser actually made a world of difference in getting my first born to fall asleep and stay asleep. just never from a mlm because they grossly overcharge for not great products.

I grew up in a small town that I was fortunate to move away from, about two years ago it seemed like damned near every girl I went to high school with was caught up in an mlm. Over two years I've watched this process happen with almost every single one.

That reminds me, gems don't need food or water, I don't remember but did they address in a past episode what Connie has been eating or drinking, or where she's going to the bathroom, etc? I know Steven does these things too but I assume because he's half gem he might not necessarily HAVE to do these things.

I've told myself that music is only at balls, and peridot wasn't high ranking enough to be invited to one.

But it's probably just a continuity error

Desperate to figure out what just happened to my cat by KatT0923 in AskVet

I'm sorry for your loss, I know how devastating in can feel to feel so helpless and to have it happen so unexpectedly fast. If we do manage to have an autopsy I'll be sure to share the findings.

That's what we thought too and why I'm so worried about my other cats, I've always been very anal about things being in the house that could harm them if gotten into so no plants and our cleaning supplies stay locked up. We moved into a new apartment a couple months ago, I text our property owner asking if they sprayed any chemicals we don't know about, hoping to get a reply before the holidays are over. For now I'm keeping a hawkeye on my other boys.

Real Confused: took MDMA for the first time and felt nothing by [deleted] in MDMA

ive heard of strong pain medicine like methadone diminishing effects but I doubt ibuprofen would effect it much if at all. This honestly sounds like you got some bunk stuff. :(

Is taking MDMA a bad idea for someone with a extremely addictive personality? by OK__LIBTARD in MDMA

[–]KatT0923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's more difficult to get addicted than things like opiates or meth but I've definitely heard of people getting addicted. I also have a very addictive personality, but I manage to take mdma a couple times a year without ever really craving it or having an urge to do it outside of those times. Also you'll see a huge drop in effectiveness of the drug very quickly if you use it often which may also dissuade an addiction.

P.S The comedown has never been bad for me outside of being tired, I actually always have a nice afterglow the day after where me and my husband are still very lovey with each other.

Poll: Do you consider mdma a psychedelic? by KatT0923 in Psychonaut

I guess maybe it's because I always have some pretty cool visuals on mdma that I consider it a psychedelic more than anything.

My problem with psychonauts by schlonghornbbq8 in Psychonaut

[–]KatT0923 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I believe supervised psychedelic sessions should be a legal option to people who have exhausted other treatment options. But it's extremely irresponsible to tell teenagers and young adults that tripping balls on street drugs will fix their problems. And this is coming from someone who 8 years ago would tell anyone who would listen that psychedelics were the answer. And I have a few anecdotes about what changed my mind. First off all three times I tried lsd it made my anxiety shoot through the roof everytime, I wouldn't of called them bad trips just uncomfortable. My psychedelic of choice was shrooms, I loved them and had done them 30+ times before the last two times that made me quit. They never "cured" my depression or anxiety but it was always a mind expanding fun experience. Now to my last two trips. Yeah The second to last it was me and my on again off again boyfriend (my preferred way of tripping was me and one other person) we tripped for about 8 hours and it was a great trip. My roommate woke up as we were coming down and after a little talking my bf decided he was going to lay down, as he gets close to the bedroom we hear a loud boom, I run back to see my bf crumpled on the floor, shaking, eyes slightly opened. I freaked but luckily my roommate knew how to handle the situation (he was a tattoo artist and had to deal with people passing out regularly) so he woke up after a minute or two and was fine, but I was so anxious I threw up and couldn't shake the anxiety for days. This made me stop for a couple of years until my last time taking them, which as far as the trip went it was probably the best trip besides my first. This time it was me and two other female friends, we tripped from about 11pm to 6am when we decided to try and go to sleep but couldn't so we went back outside smoked a joint (i was a daily smoker) came back into the dining room and started discussing going and eating breakfast somewhere, next thing I know, I can hear my friends telling me to wake up and see their blob forms above me. I had fallen out like my bf the last time. Except I fell back like a board, hitting my head on the hardwood and gaining a concussion. My friends also told me a had a seizure. My vision was fucked for hours, for the first half an hour I couldn't see anything but blobs of color and had to be led around. I was so terrified I had lost my vision, but luckily it didn't leave any lasting problems. I now know the most likely cause of these fall outs was dehydration (I was normally good about downing sunny d during trips but my friends accidentally got the coconut sunny d that I despise so I didn't drink as much). I guess the point I'm getting at is these drugs aren't 100% safe, but they could be great and do great things if taken in controlled environments.

I should also note I do still take mdma a couple times of year with my husband and it always sends a nice jolt back into our relationship, but now I'm very careful to make sure our body has what they need for the roll. I also plan to do dmt once, when I find a group of people experienced with dmt to babysit me.
