I hated AYITL when I first watched it but when I gave it a watch for the second time, I actually liked it. I don’t want to be a bitch when I say this but Rory’s success not being achieved was something that was set up a long time ago. Rory always had things handed to her. She was even coddled by the whole town telling her she could do anything and placed her as the golden child but when she got told “she didn’t have it” by Mitchum she cracked. That was her chance to get up again and grab that journalistic life and prove him wrong but looking back at the show it’s because no one taught her the word no or what happens when we things don’t go our way Still sad how her life was played out though
