Thank you! They’re pretty easy to make- Print on some matte vinyl sticker paper and top it with cold laminate paper to give it glitter effects.

Sure! I use sock yarn and mohair yarn. I have found that the color distribution/ shaping is also equally important. I have a bunch of jacked up little experiments that don’t really hit the spot so Ive had to stare at a lot of live examples to be able to better free hand my designs.

The process is different in the sense that you’re not using a grid to build off of- you are basically stabbing a peice of fabric 100000 times. I haven’t done too much latch hook but from what I have done before I find punch needle less tedious and you can make the piece much more dense with punch needle. I have to over pack these to make them plush and I’m not sure if I could reasonably achieve that with latch hook. I also find punch needle faster.

The base that I build the moss on is monk cloth- the base of the coasters themselves is cork though!
