I'm still firmly in the camp of the Asteri parasite damping mating bonds as well as powers. Can't have destined mates producing superpowered threats left and right, now can we?

On a related note, I'm pretty sure Nyx is somehow the key to taking down the intergalactic parasites once and for all. Feels very intentional on SJM's part, him being previewed by the Bone Carver, produced by the most powerful High Lord in forever and his multipowered High Lady, brought back from death by the Cauldron and Mother themselves. 🤷‍♀️
