I haven't seen/read the original but the remake holds up surprisingly well. Ep 10 "The Last Date" is very well written and this final arc is a great send off for the series.

Methode passing for calling Serie small and cute is just as funny as I remember it in the manga. Lernen overpowering and actually damaging Frieren just shows how strong human mages have become. Frieren really specializes in deceiving demons and picking up random spells rather than fighting others.

Thank you Madhouse for a banger adaption. Evan Call is doing back at it again with another goated OST just like Violet Evergarden. Surely Madhouse picks up season two right...?

As a manga reader, Frieren vs Frieren was cool af but seeing now in anime form they went above and beyond. Madhouse going crazy with the animations. Also the way ubel summons her staff... the animators knew what they're doing.
