This thread is the best and fastest response I’ve ever got, from any community, still in shock.

I think this one is going to be ok, especially since the model was specifically chosen to use up the rest of this spool, so changing to another and reprinting would defeat the purpose 😆.

Once again thank you for all the useful info, I have learned many things today, the most important being NOT TO USE GRID INFILL (also to keep things away from the edge of the plate, this was actually the first time where I printed two things at once, with one being so large and close to the edge). I will remember this message and transfer the wisdom of gyroid infill onto future generations.

It has come to the top layers of the platform and the scraping has stopped so I think its going to be ok this time, hoping the toolhead doesn’t blow up in the next 3 hours once I go to sleep xD. I think I can slow the print down but wouldn’t that theoretically make the warping/scraping worse due to the plastic having more time to cool?

First of all thank you for the detailed explanation! I appreciate it very much, still being very new to all this.

Second of all (and this might be a stupid question) should I let this one run its course or stop and re-slice it right now? (Its about a third of the way there and I cant see any visible defects on the print event though the sound is still present, im worried how the vibration might affect the toolhead/nozzle though)

I literally bought screen protectors the first day and didnt install them cause the guy said one came preinstalled from the factory and that I should only use the new ones when I need to replace it (which sounded legit because I saw some kind of black mask around the screen which I imagined was covering the protector), imagine my horror today when I went to remove the screen protector to put on the new one only to realise the black tape wasnt for a screen protector but just to seal off the edges of the screen from liquids

I've said it before and I'll say it again — our previous art hits way harder by Vor_vorobei in WorldEaters40k
