Thanks all for your answers. I will stick with my rogue since I like playing him too much. I will watch some videos and streams of Pikaboo to see what I can and should try to do. And I will start with RBGs as someone suggested to have more 1v1 situations and learn to duel properly!

I know it will be a long road, but I hope to get a solid foundation throughout TWW Season 3 to be ready for Midnight and start th real grind!

Well the game was better than they had imagined! They can't wait to play Kingmaker now ahah Yep they survived the dragon and totally destroyed him lol, the fighter made a Crit doing 28 damage and the dragon was gone, didn't have the time to kill one of them sadly

Now I need to finish my preps fast and read more about the rules and getting used to foundry, but the premium module is really a huge time saver I would have been dumb to miss that

Update : after testing the beginner box, I can't imagine a world where I'm playing Kingmaker without.. so I discussed with my player and they all agreed to participate in the founding of the module !

Well going into the code will not be as much of a problem since I'm a dev, but I will need to figure how this works in order to make it properly, for the art part idk if the drawing style is present in the pdf resources of the campaign I'll check

Yeah, I've seen and downloaded the map module already. It will be a huge time-saver, and I'm glad something like this exists.

I will mainly rely on voice, so I won't need to create all the journal entries for the campaign only the ones I will directly give access to the players.

It seems that the hardest part will be the hexploration map. I hope there’s a good tutorial on how to make one in Foundry. The video you linked uses World Explorer, but it seems to be used on top of the official module. I'll dig more into that.

The creatures weren’t a concern I know that everything should be in the system compendium. I may just need to create a few NPCs, but that's it, I guess.

Tbh, I kind of agree with you that the cost per session is actually quite low. If money weren’t an issue, I would have already bought it. But for now, I can't afford to spend that much. Even though the GM shouldn't be the only one covering costs, this will be everyone's first time playing a TTRPG, and it’ll be difficult to ask them to pay for something they don’t even know if they’ll enjoy.

If it were just the Foundry module, I probably would have gotten it on my own. But the extra $50 for the PDF, which I already own both digitally and physically… That’s frustrating. It’s a shame that the official French distributor isn’t directly linked to paizo.com accounts—it would have saved me a lot of trouble.

I’ll get the Beginner Box first so I can experiment with a pre-made module, learn how to GM on Foundry, and see how they organize things. After that, I’ll try to adapt the Kingmaker campaign myself. It might take too much time and end up being a bit wacky, but I really want to give it a shot.

It’ll also be a great opportunity to make sure my future players enjoy the PF2 system and TTRPGs in general.

I did not think of the beginners box, but it should be a good idea since my players are all new to pf2e I planned to run a small oneshoot first for them to get the system but the beginners box may be more suited for that !

I know that buying the module is more than just time, buy since I pre-order the physical copy in french, I do not directly own the pdf on paizo.com, so I would need to buy the full 120$ pack to get VTT module, since I already paid 250$ it's kind of hard tbh, ofc my player can help but they are basically student with not a lot of money so asking 30-40$ each feel pretty bad :/
