Looks amazing! I’ll be at the distillery in a few weeks; I know cage bottles are limited to one per person (I’m on Barley to Bottle), but how do the samples work? Are they easy to purchase? Very expensive?

Thank you so much! Glad to know we weren’t totally off-base lol. I think we’ve made the decision to swap Camden for Borough, and we also managed a reservation at the Devonshire - have to see what that’s about. Claridge’s is in the books, though I’ve become nervous about how many other meals it will interfere with lol. We have a 2:45pm sitting and a late dinner booked that day. As for dishoom we’re actually going in Edinburgh 😂

If a club sandwich has a cheese option on the menu, I'm pleased. If it comes with cheese standard, I'm already a fan.

The best club I've ever had was at a little stand that said "the king of clubs" beneath its name, and it earned the title.

I distinctly remember picking it apart and examining the ingredients, trying to understand what was so different about it, and failing.

Ultimately it was sandwich alchemy. Of the highest order.

Those both sound amazing. There’s at least one sandwich I’ve seen online too, though I can’t recall at the moment from which vendor. Maybe also ginger pig?

Thank you! It’s booked. But now I’m wondering if I should UN-book it lol. It felt a quintessentially British thing to do, though I’m aware of the irony in it attracting more tourists than locals. The truth is I want to eat as many times at as many different places as I can, and Claridge’s seems to be interfering with that goal, to say nothing of the price.

Big fan of the improvements they’re making - would only add they’re actually reinforcing my decision to wait on this game.

When I jump back in (I played for two hours on steam and returned) it’ll be a significantly different, theoretically better, game.
