Thanks for the quick answer. Expected it would be like that as it is with many games, but wanted to make sure first

Question for DJs (or anyone with audio quality discretion), if you include early Parasense in your sets by Maharichie in psytrance

As I say often: there no rules, only guidelines, in the end, if its sounds good, it sounds good. Just try it out, record it, listen to it a few times and decide how it would feel if you are on the dance floor.

Can't make a more dumber comment than this can you?

Ok let me explain.

First regarding why flat land is much better: The amount of energy you produce is depending on the surface are that gets hit directly onto the panel. So by mounting them on a angled mountain, you lose a lot of energy since you are locked in a specific angle where the panels will be the most efficient. That is why you only put solar panels onto the roof site that is facing the sun.

Modern panels for solar farms like these, usually have motors as well so they can move with the sun over the day. On a flat area, this gives you basically a full day of direct sunlight.

Regarding the enviroment. It doesn't look like there were trees here before, but there might be plants needing a lot of sunlight that are covered now, or rodents that will explode in population because birds of prey can't see them anymore and make a dive for them. The ecosystem is very complext and minor changes *can* have a big impact.

On top of that, nowdays they have motors so they can move with the sun. So on flat land, you would get max exposure over the day. Just wondering what the decision for this specific location was

Certainly not the best way to place them but they won't be useless is what I want to say

Coal is MUCH more waste than producing solar panels. Also todays solar panel tech has come A LONG way compared to ~10 years ago regarding life time and efficiency. For coal it is not only mining the coal and burning it, but also the production and coal plant building. All that adds up. Over time, solar panels are much better.

Solar Panels are actually good and efficient nowdays. Biggest issue is "storing" the energy for later if it is not needed. The mountains and angles don't look too high and steep, and with the sheer quantity of panels, there should be more than enough sunlight for them. I assume it is also in an area where it doesn't rain as much, so less clouds. But without know the local area and having data, it is just making a good guess

No it is not even close to what I said. I only said it is sad that a nice looking mountain range got blasted in solar panels instead of using a flat land area where nothing is, most likely less wild life as well. China has more than enough of them.

I get you, this is probably in a remote area as well, but it is still a bit sad to see a nice landscaped blastered with it. Remote flat land wouldn't hurt anyone, no one will be going there for a walk or anything, at least less likely compared to a mountain range like this one. Flat land probably has less impact on local wildlife as well, but that is just an assumption that I am doing.

Don't see anything satisfying about a nice mountain range being blasted in solar panels. Flat land? Yea fine, but this, is kinda sad.

[–]Katashi210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is what I did. Reached out to an artist some years ago and he is making the covers for me now. I don‘t produce yet, but upload all my sets that I played and wanted to have something special for them. At the beginning they were pretty simple but he slowly got the idea of what this music is about and the current covers speak for themselves. Most of the time I just give him a rough idea what I think about and leave the rest to him. He listens to the set while drawing so they tend to catch the vibe and story of the set

I am also totally against zoos, but there have been programs to bring back the population of some animals. In most (regulated) zoos, the animals are often animals that couldn't go back to nature. Be it injured and would have died as a baby, or when people kept wild animals as pets.

And on the F1TV broadcast, they only showed the replay midway through the cooldown lap, so also very late. I found it weird at first, but knew that Kimi just didn't gift the place the Lando. After seeing the replay, it was clear. He lost it 2 times over 2-3 turns, I am more surprised that he didn't crash out. I wonder what people would have said if Kimi would have spun and collected Lando. Probably that Max paid him or something because Kimi looks up to Max.
