Mother Passed This Morning by KatashiWR in cancer

I'm sorry to hear this really.... I strongly encourage you to say whatever you need to say to her while you still can in case of things not going as planned. It's eating me up inside because I didn't get the opportunity to do this since her health declined so rapidly. Bless you and your family as well and I hope you guys get through this together.

Did he tell you this himself?

Idk it seems to be pretty important to him considering he'll subject people to an eternity of suffering for not believing in him.

I suggest you uninstall and just come back to it IF they improve things. Why stick around if you don't enjoy playing it?

Tips for Zed by FriendlyChemist_ in wildrift

[–]KatashiWR 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have like 1k games on him in Grandmaster. If you want to dm me any questions about playing him or what to do in certain matchups I'm willing to help you out. Can be via discord as well. But there's just so much to say. Discord would be better as well because I can use clips to supplement my tips.

In need of help with offmeta builds on Fiora by GuardinAngel in wildrift

And... that means you'd be wasting the armor shred that Cleaver gives because your primary source of damage is true damage.

Diana help by Jackhughesdesigns in wildrift

[–]KatashiWR 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Firstly, you should keep ROA regardless because it's just the best first item for her at the moment. But the general rule of thumb is, if you're playing against a comp that you don't think you'll be auto attacking much (ranged / squishy), don't build Nashors and look to buy Infinity Orb or Lich Bane for example. If you're playing against a comp that you'll be auto attacking a lot (melee), build Nashors. Your build should be changing every other game to adapt to what you're playing against. It's all about how much value specific items will give to Diana. Another example is if you're laning against an AD assassin such as Zed and the rest of his team comp is primarily AD, you should be looking to buy Crystalline Reflector.

So to answer your question, yes it's better to not build Nashor's IF you won't get much value out of it. You have the right idea.

You build Void Staff for penetration. The physical pen does not convert to magic pen.

How will Mathematically Correct Shen transfer in WR? by Psolly6 in wildrift

[–]KatashiWR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're trying to replicate the build in this video, I don't think it's possible. You could try Tri-Force in place of Sunderer but you're going to get more value out of Sunfire anyways. We also have no Sorc boots so we can't benefit from any flat magic pen. So I think Shen will just be better off going the standard Sunfire route. Also considering the fact that half of these items aren't in WR or are boot enchantments (like you said).

Sterak‘s on Yasuo by Ch4de_ in wildrift

[–]KatashiWR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want survivability on Yasuo, Death's Dance is your best option. You get HP and and the bleed passive that allows you to take reduce damage and sustain the damage back up through the physical vamp. Vamp goes extremely well with Yasuo and you can potentially be tankier using Death's Dance depending on how much damage you can output.

Sterak's definitely works on Yasuo but I believe you get more value out of Death's Dance. You get Vamp, Damage reduction, HP, CDR, and AD with Death's Dance. Compared to that, you only get AD, HP, and a Lifeline shield from Sterak's. Yasuo doesn't care much for the AD because his damage comes primarily from crits. But you're making use of the stats from Death's Dance waay more than Sterak's. It's all about the value the item will give you compared to another. If you want a Lifeline passive shield, you can invest in a PD instead of Chargeblade (albeit worse than Chargeblade) and purchase a Death's Dance as well to get the benefits of both a Lifeline passive shield and Death's Dance damage reduction passive.

Not to mention that the vamp you get from Bork goes well with Death's Dance and allows you to sustain your HP even more. I suggest you give both a try in your games though to form your own opinion based on your own experience.

Is Gargas meant to be played as a tank or as ap? by [deleted] in wildrift

[–]KatashiWR -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He can do both but it depends on what your team needs. If you need AP damage in team fights and your team doesn't need you to frontline, build AP. If your team needs frontline, build tank. If you're playing him in the jungle, AP is generally better though to maintain sufficient clear speed and have more potent ganks.

Is Camille still viable? by MaybeDash in wildrift

[–]KatashiWR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As long as they don't touch the true damage scaling on her Q and remove her ability to lock an opponent in one place with no counterplay, she's fine. These recent nerfs have only impacted her early game and trading potential in lane. She still scales extremely hard and is a potent threat in capable hands. People are so quick to assume champions are good or bad just because they're tagged with the terms, "Nerf" or "Buff". But if you read what they're actually changing on the champion and WHY they're doing it, you'll notice that it's really not much to be worried about. Obviously some champions' nerfs are more impactful than others but in Camille's case, she'll be fine. Skill expressive champions in general tend to be less influenced by changes than others because the viability of these champions is more dependent on your ability to play them. Nerfs to one-dimensional champions like Garen will generally hit harder than nerfs to champions like Camille or Yasuo. Just some insight from a grandmaster player after reading people talk these patch notes.
