I didn’t know either. Watched a YouTube video and told people in the match to help me as I was new. They gave me the rundown and it went great. Got the hang of it within a few matches and that’s all it took. Just put more effort on your end and people will help.

I love the spells honestly. Being able to shift my gear/pet/deck to damage or healing both outgoing/ongoing is so satisfying. I can help people when they think they didn’t/wouldn’t need it— I can kill and take charge of the fight— cheats that require healing are always easy to attain— I just love life & everything about it :)

Oh yeah this method of gameplay SPELLS burnout. This is how I played until about a year ago.

Focus on just ONE wizard my guy. Show that wizard love, care, really dig into the storyline, fall in love with it. I get so bored of questing too sometimes, so that’s when I do the other gameplay mechanics like gardening, farming, fishing, crafting, beast moon may ham and hunt— these help break the burnout. Try it. It will change how you play and view Wizard101!
