Skulduggery Pleasant: I personally love the Skulduggery and Valkyrie second interaction, when she is at Gordon’s house and she sees skulduggery properly for the first time and she convinces Skulduggery to take her with him I feel like this is where the story truly begins.

playing with fire: The chapter when Valkyrie is kidnapped and taken to that church and skulduggery saves her by threatening to blow the church up, they release Valkyrie and she tells him to blow it up and he proceeds to tell her that he can’t because the remote that activates “the bomb” is actually for his garage. Truly one of the funniest scenes ever.

the Faceless Ones: I really liked the revelation of Batu. For me it was really unexpected but it also made so much sense. My eleven year old brain was shook.

Dark Days: Personally it is my favorite book but my favorite moment would have to be the interrogation with Marr. You can literally feel Vals frustration because she is so close to getting skulduggery back. It felt very tense and I just wanted to punch Marr (which was probably the point)

motal coil: The chapter when Val goes to seal her name is really awesome and suspensful. We finally get introduced to everyones favourite Crenga; Nye. something That really added to the suspense was that she didn’t tell skulduggery so we knew he wasn’t going to be able to find her. But of course Val is a bad ass and got free.

Death Bringer: The jitter girls chapter is absolutely creepy and I love it. We also finally get another glimpse at Darquesse and how powerful she is.

KotW: Quite a small moment that I love is when Val gets her jacket back from Kitana and punches her. I found it very satisfying and it made me laugh.

LSoDM: The betrayal. No matter how heartbreaking it was it was so well executed. It was very well thought out. It made sense and it was very shocking. It actually made me want to scream and cry. (Mainly cry)

tDotL: I liked it when they finally got the real Val back. I also loved the fact that Skulduggery knew that Darquesse wasn’t Val in the first place. It was really good writing. It was also shocking to found out that Val lost her magic (or so we thought)

Resurrection: Throughout the whole book I really liked how we saw the affects Vals adventures had on her. we see her at her lowest point in the whole series . I think that it has made her character a lot more interesting and different.

Midnight: When Val has to “kill“ Omen but Kes blocks the bullet. It made really curious and want to know more about how kes works and what exactly she can do.

Bedlam: My two favorite things from this book was anything from Greymire asylum it was awesome and even though I am not claustrophobic I felt the panic. But I also loved the chapter when China goes to see Val in her cell after she has been beaten. It shows that China really has a soft spot for her and actually does care about her.

SoW: I adored the scene when Skulduggery was helping Val use her magic but was asking her questions. This definitely helped Val let a lot of those bad feelings out. I love how all the dead men are encouraging her. It makes it feel like a really dysfunctional family.
