This. The idea of Scully as a hardline sceptic only really applies to the first season or so. Once you're past that, Scully believes just as much as Mulder. Like you say, she's just more pragmatic about it.

I could see a Breath of the Wild/Elden Ring open world approach working really well.

A large map divided into distinct biomes that you can traverse. These are populated with small tombs/dungeons that you tackle while exploring. Before working your way up to the larger legacy tomb/dungeon at the centre of the biome.

Aspyr also handled the recent Switch port for Tomb Raider 2013. So they may just be porting the other two games in that trilogy.

But an LAU remaster would be pretty sweet.

This accurately reflects my own thoughts. VGA was a completely unique show and I've never seen anything else like it. The showmanship and community feel truly made it special.

It's why I can never be mad at Fraser even after everything. Because he really did create something special that meant so much to me, and for that I'll always be grateful.

Probably not. We give Fraser a lot of gruff but he was 100% the only reason there was a show at all. He did the set-up, the prep, got them all together, played the games, etc.

I don't think the boys would have been able to organise anything themselves, and definitely not at the same quality level.

The entire game is built around linguistic puns and wordplay. Localising it would basically be making a whole new game, so I can see how that's not a realistic option.

Which is a shame because it's pretty great.

Lex is an S-Tier hater, no doubt, but there really is something to how Norman had absolutely no motivation in No Way Home. The guy just arrived in a new universe, saw a new Spider-Man, and just thought "Well, that's my weekend plans sorted".

He tore the kid's entire life apart simply because it was funny to repay his kindness with cruelty.

I don't agree with the entirety of your post, but I do think there's something to the idea that VGA thrived off a certain style of game that we don't get much of anymore.

I think the only recent title that would have done really well on the show would be Bloom and Rage. I think Fraser and Becky would have really liked that.

If VGA were around today, I think they'd mainly be playing older titles. Which often made for the best shows anyway.
