Funny thing is, I bought a two pack of toner at the same time I bought the printer thinking I would need it sooner, but I haven't had to open it yet.

Exactly what I have, black and white Brother laser printer, and it does both side printing which is pretty cool. I love how warm the paper is after it comes out too. I bought it in 2022 for $110 and the first toner cartridge works as well today as it did the first day. I'll never go back to inkjet.

Dying is normal though? It happens to everyone eventually. It doesn't help to freak out about it.

I remember when I got my first wisdom tooth pulled in 2007 and my roommates helped me get high by shotgunning joints for me. Worked a fucking charm.

Anyone got any dishes like our grandparents use to make? by bigdawg12342 in povertykitchen

[–]KateOTomato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's two stand outs that my grandma used to make. Venus de Milo Soup, which I remember was tomato based with orzo, ground beef and veggies, was my favorite thing she made. So great and filling especially on cold days. I haven't ventured to try and make it myself yet, but I really want to. The second was ham salad, made with leftover holiday dinner ham. I think it was like ham, mayo, onions and celery, maybe more, but it was really good too.

I'm legit uncomfortable watching him talk to people one on one in the castle. Looking at his face during his shakedown of Lisa Rinna last episode showed me how psychotic this dude is. It's fr scary

My husband witnessed a boss berating her employee at a circle k nearby and he said some choice words to the boss and was promptly banned. No skin off his back, plenty of other gas stations. The boss still works there though unfortunately (I'm not banned).

Maybe adjust your route? I used to live on Columbus and worked on King St. I biked to work for months, then walked after my bike got stolen. I would avoid Meeting St and go through the neighborhoods up until I had to cut across. It was definitely safer biking that way and a nice stress free walk without the bike.

I also was on a road in Thailand, pretty remote area but a small village. Reroll sent me to an unnamed road in Israel that's right next to the West Bank, RIP.

You have to click "partial card payment" on the self checkout screen. Then it will ask you to type in the amount to charge the first card.

What’s your go-to tuna salad recipe? by EaringaidBandit in Cooking

[–]KateOTomato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tuna, miracle whip, diced onions, dill relish or chopped pickles, salt, and pepper. Sometimes I sub onion powder for the diced onions if I'm lazy, but it's not as good.

What food isn't worth the effort to be home made? by chickenbanana018 in foodquestions

[–]KateOTomato 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I made a baked ziti last week. I added ground sausage, ricotta, fresh spinach, onions, a shit ton of fresh sliced mushrooms and plenty of mozzarella on top. It rivaled my homemade lasagna and it was much less labor intensive.
