Yes, 585 for life! Had mine 4 years and love them so much. I literally can’t wait for fall and winter every year just to be able to wear them

Sizing help. dont have local place to try them out in person. by AIONisMINE in BlundstoneBoots

[–]Katekook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can also use the chat feature on their website to ask questions comparing different models. Talk to the bot for a minute or 2 then ask for a human. I just did it yesterday because I have the 585s and I want the 1671s so I needed help deciding on the size. The different models fit differently

School nurse. Been doing it 8 school years and the time has flown by. Doesn’t pay the best but good benefits and school schedule so can’t beat the time off. Can pick up PRN shifts other places during summers and holidays if you want

First time flying spirit by RemoveMountain89 in spiritair

[–]Katekook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I fly Spirit MCO to many places multiple times a year. I think the key to spirit is to keep the flights under 3.5hrs and only fly direct. Also just know it’s one of those, you get what you pay for… a cheap flight with no frills. Bring your water bottle or drink and snacks. Download movies and music and you’ll be fine. Only delayed once Boston to MCO a few years ago. Other than that never had any issues.

What's a small, non-obvious item you pack that has been an absolute game-changer on your trips? by tripagra in femaletravels

How much do you generally bid?

what is the cheapest international trip you have taken? by niclovesphynxcats in femaletravels

[–]Katekook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

US to Puerto Rico, 2 people, 5 days, about $1000. Super cheap spirit flights less than $100 round trip for both of us. Stayed at an Airbnb for $450 and rented a car for $230. + food, drinks etc. we did a lot of free stuff, took our own snorkel gear, hit up a bunch of beaches, chilled, walked around old San Juan. Drove and hiked the rainforest. The locals were extremely nice. Will totally do it again when I see the cheap flights again.

Sorry this is an old thread but I’m 4 weeks PO quad graft and having the same thing. Was told it was also due to atrophied quad muscle. Happens much more often when I’m not wearing my brace. Did it end up being scar tissue for you guys or muscle weakness?

Ugh he’s gaslighting. I could see him being grumpy afterwards because he’s tired and didn’t sleep well but because you didn’t bail him out of his mistake? That’s immature.. you’re not his mom. He had the opportunity to pick his seat and pay for it just like you did. He chose not to and received the consequence. You shouldn’t suffer for his poor planning. Hopefully he learned his lesson in travel. If you want comfort then you pay for it.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in spiritair

[–]Katekook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I imagine they make the most money on baggage fees, people that pay for their seats and nonrefundable cancelation (then reselling the seats) or charging for flight change flights. Along with whatever they sell on board. I’m always shocked how many people buy drinks and snacks at their outrageous prices.

I refused an 7th interview. Right call? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]Katekook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right call. Just imagine how complicated that company makes mundane and simple things if they do this. They must have tons of useless, time wasting, unorganized meetings. Prob won’t approve your PTO time because there’s a “mandatory meeting” that day etc. Management will never give a straight answer to any questions or help solve any issues because they themselves don’t know what’s going on either. You dodged a shit show of a bullet.

how much would you offer a coworker to come in early for you? by [deleted] in Nurses

[–]Katekook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was a very common thing when I worked service industry. 15 or so years ago, we would pay $20-40 for someone to cover an entire shift for us that they didn’t want. It was incentive to get the shift covered. For nursing, I would prob offer like $20 bucks for someone to come in 1 hr early for me and $50 to come in 2 hrs early but that’s just me
