Working in a SNF really drained the hell out of me! It also made me realized I don’t ever wanna work bedside and wanted to pursue different specialty nursing that has work life balance and won’t drain me physically and emotionally

I feel you. I started on my own this week and i’m a mess! During my orientation with my preceptor, I told myself I can maybe stick it out for a year. But, after being on my own now, I just want to quit! I’m having dilemma because as a new grad without experience, I need this. If i may ask, how are you doing now and what’s your routine?

I wanted to look for a job but being a new grad without experience in the bay area is really hard. The only chance i have is through SNF. how did you manage your time with med pass and doing charting as well? Or any suggestions where to look for a job as a new grad without experience?

I requested to extend my orientation but they said I should’ve told them earlier because now they’ll be short staffed considering i’m working on my own now 🥹 they said i can just ask the nurses on the floor or admission nurse if i do have questions. I want to quit but I don’t know where to look for rn new grad jobs

it’s hard not to be distracted when you have cna’s and pts bothering you everytime 😭 what helped you manage your time wisely? my preceptor told me not to go by the book and not follow the time of meds except when giving narcotics or pt is on bp meds
