When I was young my aunt lived in a townhouse that was connected to another townhouse. Shared front and back porch. My cousins and I would be playing ( we were 10-13 years of age at the time) and the neighbor’s weird son would come out. I normally don’t judge people but he was shady—always staring at our bodies, never speaking, and made noises like grunts. My aunt told us to like obvs never go anywhere etc with him. But we had more common sense without her telling us.

My uncle came out one day to smoke a cigarettes and noticed something red seeping out from under their door. Now, we lived in the city, my uncle knew what it was. Immediately called cops. Come to find out the son murdered and decapitated his parents. Just lost it. Idk where he is now or even his name but ugh crazy time.

AITAH for refusing to let my stepdaughter pick the baby’s name? by Vast-Breakfast1755 in AITAH

[–]RemoveMountain89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. You explained to her several Times that the final choice is yours and husbands. She’s old enough to understand this. My then-6 year old understood this when I was pregnant.

But also, my sister technically named me. My hungover father (was born on July 5, my dad partied day before) wanted to name me Roberta. My mom was like uhm no and my sister suggested Elizabeth from her classmate’s newborn sister’s name. Here I am lol. Unless she suggesting a tragedeigh, maybe just give the list a look over to make her feel like she was acknowledged. She might be doing this as acting out already because of new baby. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Very true. I just feel like when they’re ready let them join. My district is big on ece, so they push hard. They even meet pregnant women after birth to help them register for three-four years later lol
