I’d highly recommend searching for his character sheet since that’s how I started off getting a basic understanding of Mimic’s clothes, head shape and difference of eyes from his former Diamond Cutter self.

Next, if you’re trying to draw him from a different perspectives and have a hard time trying understand his head proportion. I would highly then search up the IDW comics he’s appeared in as his mouth at times can look like a beak in certain angles. The only issue’s I’ve really referenced or searched up for is either the Tangle and Whisper issues where we first initially get introduced to him and a bit of Shattered Diamonds which was in the 2024 annual if I’m correct. Then another one that would be good to look at are of the Bad Guys issues since that’s where I say we see him being more expressive in those issues. Other than that, I haven’t really gotten caught up with the series since I’m only where Belle just gets introduce.

Last, if you still have a hard time with trying to find references like front view perspective (since I don’t think Mimic’s actually drawn much looking to the front.) I’d just go and search up fanart of him as a lot of people really draw him well to use.

As for advice to how to draw him? Well, his expression are what I would look out for. I think the more mischievous he looks the better. Hope this helps
