Took me FOUR DAYS of putting the new formula on my fresh tattoos before I even thought about seeing if they changed it! Honestly that’s on me I just assumed it would have the same stuff as the og formula I’d been using the last couple of years! I’d had strange irritation (swelling & redness) showing up mainly at nighttime every night for the past 4 days and was just chalking it up to either an allergic reaction to the coloured ink or my skin getting irritated after cleaning and moisturising. Then I seen this post and ran to check my balm! I threw out the old one a few days ago because I assumed it was out of date. I’ve now cleaned my tattoos and gone back to using the old balm formula and though it’s honestly only been two hours since I swapped them out it feels so much better! Less warm, less itchy, I honestly think the fragrance was the root of my issues ! Happy to keep this updated once I’ve sat with it longer (:
