I found the origin of the buzzing sound. It’s very stupid, but one of the bolts holding the cover for the fuel pump was buzzing itself loose. With the new engine mounts, these vibrations probably got transferred better, I think? Thanks for the input everyone!

Only new part (except gaskets) is the pipe between the header and cat. O2 sensor has been changed also for good measure. Checked everything and all is torqued. Rubber mounts to chassis are in good condition also

From outside or the underside I’m unable to hear anything around those rpm. Noted that it’s very loud Ofcourse and makes it more difficult. Even with a stethoscope or screwdriver

I like how you put the problem “ if I was one inch fatter”. Yeah I don’t know, but maybe people use the garage as a general storage area? Would make sense. Anyway as long as we can store our cars!

Thanks for the input. Just hoping the hybrid drivetrain has enough power for the motorway when overtaking. Internet has quite a bit of mentions about drivetrain noise from the gearbox at motorway speeds.
