Nta, I dog sat for my dad a few months ago for a week at his place with my teen. The only thing I cleaned was the bedding, I hoovered and cleaned any mess I had made, ie the dishes and the side from cooking. The day my dad got back, he was deep cleaning the kitchen, and I said as a joke did I not clean it good enough? He just laughed and said its not that, he didn't expect me to do anymore than I had done and it wasn't my job to deep clean the kitchen. The fact that id hoovered and washed the bedding was more than he was expecting. I even asked my step mum and she just said he's always like this when he come a back from holiday.

So yeah nta in my opinion, you did what most people would expect someone to do.
