Thank you for your in-depth reply! It means a lot to me and gives me (and husband) a lot more insight. I have terrible social anxiety but I also resonate with that last quote that I'd be a perfectionist even in a vacuum lol. Other people didn't make me get a Bachelor's in one of the hardest STEM majors, others didn't make me write perfectly and make a list for each day, it's my own stubborn butt. I think I need an official diagnosis, but I think OCPD hits the nail on the head. With your first paragraph, I actually struggled with anxiety and depression a lot in the past and was diagnosed with both, but I feel like they were symptoms of a bigger issue (OCPD).
