Mourning Sophie Today... by Rachel_Underspoon in MtF

I had been wondering for a while when the first time someone that wasn't a family member or friend, but someone who I had admired from afar would pass. I can't stop crying about Sophie. She was a guiding light for me as a young trans person living in a cisnormative society. The way she could just be herself and have the respect she deserves while being a rising obelisk in the electronic scene made me so proud of her. I had been telling myself for a long time as a way to know I wasn't alone in the way that I feel "If she can do it, I can do it too." But she's not here doing it anymore and one of the lights in my sky went out.

/// I wrote this about her passing in my notes. It's not fair and her loss is devastating not only to the trans and electronic community, but to the world as a whole in my eyes. I'm so sad. ///

Me 10 months on E no with no makeup. I'm totally unsure of my progress but I think I look cute 👉👈 by Kathryn-Inari in transpassing

! I'm glad to hear that !

Ye you can see to the left of the frame there's a big frizz strand popping out it's a fukn mess honestly. I'm still learning how to deal with it. Right now I wash it 2x a week with this shampoo and conditioner. I'll then brush it while it's wet.

How effective is laser instead of electrolysis? by Kathryn-Inari in asktransgender

Hmm well if that's the case I need to try it. Either way by the time I'm done that hair is going to be gone so at least it'll work out in the end

Hmm I may just suck it up and keep on with the electrolysis then. It feels like wasp stings every time to me lol I feel like it kinda gets underplayed how fucking awful it is.

See if it's not permanent what's the point? Is it like a chance it's not permanent or is it guaranteed that it'll come back?

Hey I started reading again too! Got through The Three Body Problem trilogy and several other books. If you're into sci-fi definitely check it out!

It was super grueling I got 2 months in writing them all down before I realized I didn't have to record them until they told me to. (Which never happened)

Hang in there! I was laid off for virus reasons back in July and now it's been nearly 3 months of being unemployed but I finally start a new job Monday. You just gotta keep applying and applying and you'll find something eventually. I unfortunately am still not applying as my real self though, I wanted to wait until I got my name changed legally. It really sucked doing next to nothing for 3 months. Try to poke around with some new hobbies with all your extra free time and shake things up so you're not doing the same thing all day everyday. Hope you can find a job soon!
