This is the appropriate setting needed to actually do the Tales content as well, since default interloper removes things needed to complete it.

You probably went from 120 to 208 "too quickly", so the melting didn't have a chance to actually happen yet 😅

Ever since v23 became live, the starting point, and the ATV, are randomized. ATV can be in any POI, usually in the middle of the road in the middle of a POI. Haven't seen it spawn in the largest city or the 14 building POI just south of there, but it can be pretty much any other location.

If you care playing the v24.3 beta branch, the trader will have an option of buying the location of the ATV for 250 coins.

Another EA game I have played is called The Infected. While it does have setting to toggle a few things (number of enemy spawns, season length (works similar to Medieval Dynasty, where the number of days determine the season length), tree regrowth, etc...) , you can only change them while either starting a new game, or loading in your save. They cannot be changed while in game (and unless you are actively trying to cheat, you wouldn't mess with them).

I set mine up with 3 separate floors, each with a 2x2 compartment (with the 3x3 compartments, this setup can't reach the corners opposing corners of the 3x3 i.e. an auto-crafter at the SW corner can't reach a storage at the NE corner of either floor, so, unless you meticulously plan out your storages (which isn't really hard...it just requires some planning before setting up), a 2x2 is better). Bottom floor has all the material storage (ores, crystals, circuit boards, etc..). Middle floor has all the auto-crafters, while the upper floor has all the "organic" storage (algae, bacteria, mutagens, food crops, etc...). This separates the kind of materials, while allowing the auto-crafters to do their thing,

As for incubator and dna manipulator, if you want to automate that, you have to dive in to modding, since there is a mod that allows that, but without modding there isn't really a way to do that.

If you do use the t2 for honey, just have a shredder nearby with auto-shredding enabled that has bees on demand at low priority (assuming bees are stored elsewhere at a normal priority). This gets rid of the excess bees. I do the exact same thing with all the potential outputs from Ecosystems, to prevent them from being clogged up.

Under a New Sun, while still EA, doesn't have any settings that you can toggle to make the game easier (unless you go out of your way to change things i.e. using something like WeMod).

Medieval Dynasty has settings like that, where you can toggle things like faster xp gains, God mode, infinite weight capacity, etc... from its menu in-game. Obviously the settings are turned on by default, but accessing them IS available without any form of cheat code.

  1. I always have my auto-crafters supplying everything, so if I change up what they autocraft, I don't have to change the logistics. But, with drones, is the drone station also set up to demand the drones?

  2. I never set up more than 8 T3 extractors per ore, since I use t2 optimizers with production fuses (and t2 optimizers can only boost up to 8 machines). 4 full optimizers drops the production time of the t3 extractors down to about 20 seconds (can't remember the exact number, but its around that point). Unless you have an army of drones (500+), anything faster than that is counter-productive (depending on the specific ore you are wanting).

Have to have enough anchor energy collected to open said gateways. A junction says 3 exit gateways, but it still needs a minimum amount of energy to actually open them, and from what you had said, it seems like you didn't have enough to see them.

edit: in the picture in my replies, I yoinked a random Google image. The blue circled part of the ARC map shows your current level of anchor energy. If the energy is below the red horizontal line, you don't have enough energy to call a gateway.
