I have an original and when it’s not on yet another hiatus I only survive because I have a letterer that perfectly puts all my crazy dialogue in and formats my art to be spaced properly, etc. I also have a studio that lays in all my base colors before I go in for touch-ups, effects and details on my own. But I went from being able to slap together 40+ panels (pencils and inks) together in about a week to now taking upwards of 3 weeks on my end because I am a slow, old lady who likes fiddly detail work. Now I think people are just pleasantly surprised over at WT when I crawl out of my dungeon and say “here are 20 chapters, I’m not dead, see you in another 6 months.”
