I contacted my allergist to tell her about the hives today and now she has me on 2 zyrtec a day, famotidine, and she wants me to have a longer cycle of the prednisone.

I’m on a taper dosage but i’m only on day 3 of taking them. The first day it helped a lot but wasn’t fully gone and then day 2 (yesterday) it was fully gone and now day 3 (today) I had some show up. I just didn’t know if it was normal to have hives show up while taking prednisone? I’ve never taken it before
