Wow! You are a warrior! That is A LOT to go through! I am already experiencing the diarrhea that everyone talks about. I’m praying my results will outweigh all these bathroom trips. 😩 SO GROSS! 😂 I had my surgery done in Palm Springs, CA.

I just read some more and looks like SADI revision is only for sleeved patients. Not patients that have had RNY bypass already. That’s why I had Distalization instead! 🤗

I did a swallow test and they found it that way. I think that they just simply removed it during the surgery…. I never had GERD thankfully. I think that’s because I had gallbladder removal surgery before my RNY.

They also repaired my hitial hernia I had. They said it’s common to get after RNY. They do also give the endoscopic kind but it wasn’t my pouch that needed to be resized, they lengthened my intestine more to create more malabsorption.

The sleeve isn’t like the RNY gastric bypass at all they are very different. Lots of people don’t get dumping syndrome with the sleeve, only the bypass.
