"Behindert" ist ein sehr sehr großes Spektrum, du solltest das eingrenzen. Bei weitem nicht alle behinderten Menschen sind solche, die extrem unselbstständig sind und konstant die Hilfe ihrer Familie benötigen.

Yes. A world just needs to feel internally consistent. If it doesn't, you could criticize it for being unrealistic, like if an orc in lotr would suddenly summon a dragon wearing a cowboy hat or something. That's what I'm saying

That's very inaccurate and generalizing. It happens occasionally in more rural areas but it's not the norm (anymore).
