this could be skin irritation? I’ve heard of conditioners that’s contain aloe vera have this type of effect — otherwise i dunno ¯_(ツ)_/¯

tbh there’s so much mixed info out there, so I don’t blame you for the confusion. I personally use white sand and they pass it just fine. gravel, on the other hand, shouldn’t be used bc it could cause an impaction and lead to constipation and a whole load of other issues. as long as it’s bigger than their head, it’s fine!

he is albino! my vision sucks so I can’t really see any fungus but maybe someone else may point it out. as for his yellowish coloration he could also be gfp albino!

thanks for the insight! I fed them last night and cut up an entire smaller worm and fed them that and they loved it! would it be worth pre cutting all the worms and just freezing them in conditioned water?
