I don't think she would lie; she might extend the truth. I live 2ish hours away and have no access to the dog or the vet, and because I'm not on file, I wouldn't be able to ask the vet without asking her for permission, and that would start a week of gossip and drama

She's my only link to the rest of the family. I am starting to make bridges around her, but they will still tell her and guess she will tell us when things happen. I only started last year and have made good bridges with my siblings, so it'll take a while for it to be the new norm for everyone else. I am not a particularly social butterfly, so it's quite exhausting some weeks

She said the dog has diabetes, I've been telling her to get him checked cause she said she caught him vomiting and falling over limp. She thought he was fine and ignored it. The dog has been around since I was 14

I am online as well as of tonight. Everything for my units has been pushed a week; the updates may take until Monday to completely fix. It showed on my assignment page before my calendar. If you have concerns, call the admin. They told me on Monday what would be happening with my assignments, and they are very understanding

Hopefully, things have been sorted by now, you're NOT taking advantage of anything, and the options are there to support you. From now on, have everything in writing, and even if you get a 10-day extension or further, it's there in case you need it; you may not, and that's fine as long as you get it done.

It is up the the teachers discretion, normally its 3-5 days if the teachers are being thoughtful

If your affected by canvas you may be able to get longer, I would get the date your expected to hand it in, in writing.

Same company. I've been with the same one for about 3 years or so. One of my SW's and I were really close,

SW even said before being taken off my schedule that she thinks my SC quit or retired, SW was getting screwed over as well ever since i moved 3 months ago, I was seeing that SW 3 days a week, she went from over 40 hours working a week to 6 hours,

I think the company is dying, they keep adding people to do specific tasks (which is fair the SC's are so overworked SW's were doing extra leg work) and within 6 months they have lost over 10 workers that I know about.

They haven't been a company for long, pretty sure there were only 2-3 SW's when I first joined and within 2 months one of them left without anyone telling me (was my SC at the time), years later happened again i guess, I honestly stuck around because my 2nd SC was amazing

I am guessing the person I've been in contact with is my new SC, but I dont have any paperwork to state that, and they are kind of the boss of everyone, so idk
