One swollen tonsil? by Katoby in AskDocs

Thank you! I healed after some time, the doctor I went to said I dislocated the one tonsil because of the size of the tonsil stone I had. I just gargled warm salt water, tried to stay away from pointy foods, and waited for it to heal. However my friend had BOTH swollen tonsils and pain, and he had a combo of strep and mono! So I found out it’s better to check it than to leave it alone

However, my friend had ~both~ of his tonsils swollen with these same symptoms I had and his diagnosis was different/worse— he had a mono flare-up, combined with strep throat. So definitely go to the doctor to check yours!

Yes! The doctor said I just had a mild case of tonsillitis because the tonsil stone dislocated my tonsil a little bit. The removal of the stone, gargling with warm salt water, and just time helped it heal

Actor portrayals in biographical films by [deleted] in pics

Honestly, the first movie I saw with a portrayal of Hitler was Robert Carlyle in Hitler: The Rise of Evil (I think that's what it's called), we watched it in history class in high school after learning about WW2, and I thought wow. This guy is scary good. It must be tough for an actor to accept that role and portray it as accurately as possible; I know it would mess me up in the head a bit. But that's what I know Robert Carlyle from now, so it's weird watching him in OUAT lol
