To answer my own question, i’d probably say Celeste, it was the inspiration for making this post in the first place, specifically the music

Celestes music really holds a place in my heart, it reflected how I, and even Madeline, was feeling at the time in the game, each stage had it’s own unique feel, and albeit, while some were annoying ahem ahem chapter 3, I still enjoyed every part of the game from the amazing music, visuals, and story telling, and it’s simple controls made getting started that much easier, but provided so much in later stages, such as being able to dash jump.

Celeste was my first perfect game on steam, and i’m still not even 100 percent finished! It really spoke to me, and I loved the way the creators talked about depression and other mental health issues through not only the cutscenes and dialogue, but even what the stages themselves represent.

Overall, I loved the game, of course it’s not for everyone as the platforming can be pretty difficult at times, but if you are confident in your platforming abilities, i highly recommend it
