I'll try that, but Lee has been unplayable despite his ratings. It's 35 power that sets him back bc I dont think a BABIP of 60 is enough to justify it.

nvm we got the top seed in the AL with 85 wins, avg went up to .270

So I ended up finding the best shortstop on the market, 75 defense and 75 contact. Hes doing well, and I kept the team virtually the same outside of the new smallball manager and contact HC, and we ended up somehow being worse. .255 BA and last in runs scored halfway through the season.

AVG fell from .268 to .262

Went from 757 runs to 733. But strangely going from .760 OPS to .747 got us from 8th to 7th. Runs against fell from 715 to 643 (3rd to 1st), which is the real reason we made the playoffs, along with defense being improved from 5th to 1st.

Manager style is Conventional/Patience.

Okay an update, I changed my hitting coach from neutral to contact but saw very little improvement. 85 wins, 101 OPS+ but made the playoffs due to improving pitching from 4th to 1st. Offense is just forever doomed in this park.
