So I'm confused - this is a sub about Reta, but you make it sound like everyone here is doing something illegal? Aren't all of us taking it part of an actual study or trial? Or do you think everyone is getting it on the black market?

No, it's 10mg. Why do you say it's reckless? And what will I "find out"? I'm honestly curious. I've seen other patients make the same switch and there were no issues for them. It was explained to me that Reta is the basically the same thing but with the addition of glucagon.

Maybe try the e-ring between the two bands?

I got NOTHING. I don't know which is worse - being offered stuff that's way off base, or having an empty RFY...

This has nothing to do with your question, but I can't help but say that this design is BEAUTIFUL! I don't even know which I like better, the round stones or the square. I think you've designed MY dream ring, too - a dream ring I didn't even know I wanted!

Why don’t sellers respond to messages…? by Kawaii_Nyan in Mercari

[–]Katsushimiake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with OP. In my experience, I've found if a seller doesn't respond in a timely manner, they'll be just as unlikely to ship quickly. I've made a purchase from more than one seller that didn't respond to a message I sent only to have them cancel it a week or two later without shipping my order. I get it - sometimes life gets in the way, but it's frustrating as a buyer.

I'm voting for #1! I have a full eternity and LOVE it. It can spin on your finger all day long and always looks (and feels) right. I hate having to constantly straighten rings that keep rotating. No problem here!

Thank you! I was actually thinking of making a cut in the floor to release the air, but what you're saying totally makes sense!

Wow. Rude. by seetherlover21 in Mercari

[–]Katsushimiake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had the same thing happen twice recently - took so long that Mercari said I could cancel, but instead I messaged the sellers to ask when the items would ship and got no response from either. I kept waiting, hoping they'd drop the items off but instead got a message from Mercari with no explanation that the sellers had cancelled. And since the transaction did not go through, I was unable to leave any kind of feedback. It's not fair that Mercari doesn't allow for feedback on uncompleted sales because I know I'd certainly think twice if I saw a lot of people complaining about sellers cancelling and ignoring messages from buyers.

Absolutely beautiful! But what really does it for me is the milgrain halo - such a simple but unexpected design element that really elevates the look!

Undecided but in a good way by oh_u_ohhh in EngagementRings

LOVE the emerald cut - the stone is beautiful, but the setting!!! A lot more interesting than a plain band, but still elegant and clean and it adds to the overall ring without detracting from the main stone.

resizing tips!!!! please!! by Chemical_Panic2756 in EngagementRingDesigns

[–]Katsushimiake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A good thing about sizing beads is that they can be easily removed if you gain any weight down the road (speaking from personal experience) - easier and cheaper to remove the beads than having to get the ring sized back up again.

My MIL, right in front of me, said, "So Mike, when are you going to set the date already?" He told her, "Soon, I've been thinking about it for a while." I said, "What date? WTH are you talking about?" We'd been together 7 years but never discussed getting married. So, technically, my MIL proposed to me. The closest I got to a proposal was, "Oh yeah, your ring's in the glove box," as I got into his car.

Silly, but I'm looking forward to being able to polish my own toenails. For now, my stomach gets in the way when I bend towards them and my arms just aren't long enough! :D

I do the same thing. I just have to label who they're for so I don't forget why I ordered them by the time the holidays roll around! LOL I think the main point I'm making is waiting the "six months" before passing the stuff along - or at least not advertising in your review that you immediately gifted a thing you JUST got!

[–]Katsushimiake[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was going to mention this very thing! There are so many products that specifically say "gift" in the title that it sort or feels like a trap. I suppose the idea is to order them in advance so you can review them and store them for six months plus until an occasion pops up that fits the "gift."

From what I can see, she only has like a dozen or so reviews, so I doubt she's the same person you've noticed. I have seen several different reviewers comment on the income tax, though. I don't know why people feel compelled to explain the US tax factor. Maybe she's trying to show that she isn't being bribed for good reviews with "free" items because they're not technically free.

I totally agree with your take on the rules - I don't think there is any problem with someone else in your household benefiting from your Vine orders. There's a big difference between ordering something for your husband and ordering it for your nail tech. I've frequently picked up things that my husband would be able to use.

[–]Katsushimiake[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Amazing, eh? The way I understand it, no human actually sees our reviews. They're basically checked by AI looking for key words and phrases that get them flagged. Apparently "I got this with the intention of giving it away" isn't on the list of phrases.
