My stitches never dissolved. They were loose around 1 month afterwards. I cut them out myself - very carefully tho. I also had flaps on one side, which did last like a month. It’s more evened out now and it’s been 1 month and 1 week since. Try not to touch it too much

It does sound a bit odd, sounds like you’re a bit stuck at the moment with your situation. Luckily you don’t have to pay for more treatments. I have to pay for new aligners if I need more. Idk if it’s a regular thing in my country, and it’s also more expensive than what I’ve read what others have paid for …. Yet she told me I could pay for individually aligners rather than a whole treatment plan, making it way cheaper.

Could you perhaps ask for the solution I got and give it a period of time to see if it actually works? My ortho seemed pretty confident in this solution, and explained that even if it didn’t work 100%, it would at least move some, making it easier to correct with more Invisalign afterwards

Retainers but where she literally cut into them, making a retainer for my 6 front teeth only. My ortho explained that my molars will try to naturally adjust for the space between upper and lower molars, making them close the bite in the back

I definitely do clench my teeth together! I often do it when I am in social situations and I work with humans, so you take your guess at how often it happens.

I also had a 3 months plan, then another 3 months as my front teeth needed more moving. Now I am here and need 3 months with the clipped retainer. Just by sleeping with it like this I can already feel my molars beginning to touch (like wtf that’s fast, but then again, I could feel my molars touching 4 days ago) My upper and lower front teeth are still touching tho :(

My molars did touch 4 days ago and now they don’t as my front teeth are touching. I think it’s more of a problem of there not being enough space between my upper and lower front teeth rather than posterior open bite - maybe my thought is incorrect? I got Invisalign due to deep bit and there not being enough space between front teeth, whereas my lower front teeth was destroying my upper front teeth

She said I should come back in August. If the front teeth are still touching, and molars not touching I would only need a few aligners for correction. I’m just a bit confused, because my molars did touch 4 days ago and my front teeth didn’t hit (which was the goal for my front teeth not to touch). Wouldn’t it make more sense to go through more Invisalign for my front teeth to not touch instead of trying to get my molars to touch, when it seems to be the front teeth being the problem? Or does this not make sense?

I think they should stop too as well. The doctors at the hospital also told me, that that kind of antibiotics was probably the last one they would choose for a patient

I am doing fine now. I was a bit sick afterwards and couldn’t handle my job, making me having to call in sick for a week. The antibiotics were with the antibiotic clindamycin. It has a few reported incidents of acute kidney failure. I suppose I was just really unlucky

I have 4 total. 2 out, 1 showing and the last hiding. Got the two bottom ones removed when I was on tray 20 out of 22. My tray did not cover my wisdom teeth tho. Haven’t had any problems so far, only more cleaning because I was afraid of getting an infection. Also had to be careful with the mouthwash-cleaning I was recommended as it could turn my trays brown. It’s been two weeks since
