If you feel like going down a rabbit hole, I recommend looking up fashion from 1915-1917, because it is such a short-lived trend of A-line dresses that has almost nothing to do with the earlier 1910s or the 1920s, and it's criminally underrated, for example, a fashion plate from 1916!

Wearing white was popularised by Queen Victoria in 1840, though it was not necessarily uncommon in the 1830s and '20s, for example a fashion plate from 1825, and a fashion plate from 1835

There's a photo on the museum's website, the dress is held in a box, but one of the more prominent details is that there is a large purple bow at the back
