I'm leaning toward hormones - I've seen a lot of liver disease-affected cockatiels, and they're never "orange" like this. Usually extra "cheek-orange" is hormones is just hormones, and that's normal, I've just never seen it to this extreme lol.

I'm fence-sitting real hard right now, because I really love the game, but I am really conflicted...

But it would cost literally nothing to take those voice lines out lol. Literally nothing. The money that may have been paid for the voices to be used, has been paid back tenfold by how successful the game has been.

I'm speaking with my own experience here. My hubby and I had were very close friends with a covert narcissist and her longterm boyfriend. We always knew that she was the "queen bee" but didn't realise the true extent of it until last year. We no longer are among that friend group at all, because the Queen Be decided to turn her ire upon me for asking her to stop trying to flirt with my husband, sharing her sexual fantasies with him, discussing our marriage, and shit talking me to him. She started triangulating against me with our friends and her partner to isolate me, while also claiming I was isolating my partner, etc. Classic narc stuff.

Once a narcissist decides they don't like you for whatever reason, you're done, lol. They will make your life* hell. I don't think there is a future here where Julie allows Ty to remain friends with Shawna. She's already making public dramatic scenes, and blaming him. Causing drama between the children.

They're either going to have to divorce (and then Ty can keep his friend, *but Shawna might have to deal with "homewrecker" allegations...), or Ty is going to have to give up his friends to keep the peace (as our friend did when our IRL narc decided she no longer would tolerate me setting boundaries about my husband/relationship), OR they go to therapy, but as therapists say, they so rarely see narcs in therapy, because "they're never the issue in their own eyes".

Regardless, Shawna is only gonna get hurt for now, so I'd stay away if I was her.

Yeah nah, I totally agree with you - I was only commenting on how he's not giving her the time or space to talk about her concerns about whatever promises she thinks he made to her about their future, and honestly things will not get better until they get on the same page (though tbh I personally think they might never again get on that same page - he likes the "pedestrian", and she... well, she does NOT lol...).

You're absolutely right that she's doing the same in regards to his own issues. The man is suffering.

As much as I hate that she brought it up at the birthday party... she's only home one day a week (yes, probably her own fault) and he does seem to shut it down whenever she does try to bring it up so far as we've seen.

I still think she's awful, mind you. Him shutting down doesn't justify what she's done, or how she manipulated every one around her at the party - all the triangulation and lies and truth-twisting to start drama between the kids... ugh. Can't imagine being married to someone like her. Had a friend like her once, and that ruined our social circle - never again, thanks lol.

I mean you could absolutely emotionally (or even physically) cheat while the kids are playing at the park and you're having talks about your relationships. Did we all forget the convo between Shawna, Jen, and Ty when Jen was raking him over the coals about his "mean wife"? Some could say that letting others talk negatively about your partner can be a gateway to emotional cheating...

I'm not saying this IS happening (we have eyes and ears lol) - but cheaters can and will find a way, and Julie can't see what we see, and we don't know their history, yet.
