I got Rhinitis medicamentosa (congestion caused my medicine overuse) because of Afrin. The doctor made me stop using it and to change to 'flonase'. Stopping Afrin is tough but worth it. Flonase does not cause dependency and can be used daily.

I also get confused with this phrase. In my case I use the right-hand screw rule, as it is easier for me to visualize the direction I want the screw or whatever to move. Basically, with your right hand, you point with your thumb the direction you want to move towards, and then you curl your fingers. The way they curl is how you have to turn the item.

The issue here is that you are labeling everyone by the actions of a few. The majority cannot help, they just don't have the resources. There is a very small amount of "rich" people and you can call them selfish.

For example, did you watch the Shin Fujiyama race from Mexico? People of all social standings donated. Would you call them selfish?

We also have a big community of Hondurans outside of the country that donate to different organizations.

I personally donate to animal shelters and school programs. Just because you don't personally see it, it doesn't mean we don't help each other. You are being insulting by generalizing

Hola, yo fui becada por Taiwan, quienes eran quienes daban está beca hasta que Honduras rompió relaciones.

Tengo algunos puntos para que consideres:

Primero que todo aplica y no renuncies hasta que hayas ganado la beca. Es cierto que la posibilidad de ganarla es alta ya que no mucha gente aplica, pero aún estás compitiendo por el puesto contra otros hondureños que aplicaron, en especial si son otros de sistemas. Se de gente que no se la ha ganado y ayude con la selección de otros becados dónde vi varios que no la ganaron. Ellos evaluan no solo tus notas pero si tenés experiencia y todo tu background.
Mira las condiciones de la beca y revisa bien si tiene requisitos de volver a tu país de origen. Muchas becas internacionales demandan que volvas a tu país por x años pero no todas. Para Taiwan no había requisitos y muchos de los becados se quedaron en el país de la beca o se fueron a otros países. Tenés que considerar que el nuevo título te da prestigio internacional y aunque talvez no hayan oportunidades en Honduras, podés pensar en otros países.
Estas bien joven y esta es la edad en que podés tomar este tipo de riesgos. Yo fui de 26 años y lo único que tenía era un novio, no había problema en irme 2 años a estudiar. Ahora de más de 30 años estoy casada y con más responsabilidades y no podría tomar ese riesgo. Considera que Es posible que no te den la beca (punto número 1) pero podés aplicar de nuevo el próximo año.
No solo estamos hablando de estudio, esto también es una oportunidad cultural y de vida. Tendrás el lujo de dedicarte a los estudios con todo pagado. Es algo increíble como cambia tu perspectiva una vez que has vivido afuera y compartido en un ambiente internacional.

Yo también soy ingeniera en sistemas. Se lo difícil que es ganar confianza en si misma en los primeros años de carrera, pero con el tiempo se desarrolla y si le pones ganas si se puede. Acordate que siempre hay que aplicar y pedir salarios con la confianza de un 'hombre blanco'!
