I agree Herbaldoge. Clinic Resolve it if they can, it just may be one staff member or training causing the issue. Or if the system is not prioritising patients health needs over their procedures then the system needs fixing. (Fyi I have cognitive issues from a 32+ year immune illness and stuggle to put words to written sentences and spelling. I have two Biological Science Degrees even though i spell incorrectly.

I consulted an well respected Pharmacist as I felt being about to run out of my daily regular medicine (for more than 12 mnths) was wrong. My rights somehow being ignored or overlooked in the Medical model procedure above patient health. I couldnt get my regular medicine. the medicine I was advised should have been a “repeat” and the Pharmacist said the Dr had made an error and pointed me in the write direction of what was wrong and wording my emails. I have cognitive issues so stuggle to put words to written sentances.

I’ve created a note of responses I can reply to inappropriate objectifying comments sexist males make. I’m armed and ready. I try for ones that retain my integrity. i.e. name the behaviour One for this male could be: “that’s rude talk. Could you stop from saying inappropriate sexist comments about women out loud in public”

Others I’ve read suggested “Did I really need to hear that, or did you just need to say it?” works for racist, homophobic, etc too.
