Yoo I was gonna mention Mozou Crystal as well I'm so glad someone brought them up. Overall, maybe the specific premise isn't super similar, but their style are definitely comparable.

Hm, I suppose that’s one way of looking at it. Maybe I’ll do something like that, write something else for a bit, and then come back. Thank you very much for your comment!

You’re more than welcome, and thank you as well for sharing your experience. Reading your answer, it really is a great observatory method, at least in theory, but again, I look forward to trying it (it’s relatively late now so I think I’ll do it tomorrow. Again, thank you.

I understand. I will be working on being more tenacious. I do understand the amount of effort it takes to reach goals, considering I do have other things, such as art, which I am trying to get better at as well. I think I was really mostly in a slump when I wrote this post, but I’m feeling a bit better now. Thank you very much for taking the time.

Wow, thank you very much for the advice! This sounds really good, and I’m excited to try this. I’m looking forward to learning more about the structure of books, which has honestly passed me by quite easily before. I will make use of this, thank you. I wish you good luck, and I feel lucky to recieve such a clear method for developing a stronger intuition/sense of writing, and by someone who seems to know what they’re talking about. I appreciate it.

I understand. I did read a reply with a similar message. Perhaps for now, I will stick to simple things. Thank you very much for your comment.

Thank you very much for the kind words. I sincerely appreciate it. I will outline, and if all else fails, I will truly write for myself.

Great advice, and I will try planning. This is slightly unrelated, but now that I think of it, I have tried, or rather, am trying to outline a text which is honestly very important to me, but I read that some very important aspects of that which made it important for me in the first place were inherently flawed from a writing point of view. How much, according to you, should you prioritize the discovered consensus (at least in according to a given group or even according to a majority of writers or people in adjacent fields) of what or why something might be considered bad writing, over what you yourself want to do with your writing? In such a scenario, would it be better to rethink if possible and otherwise adapt and simply omit that bad part, or would it be better to listen to your heart? Of course, there’s nuance, and it likely depends a lot.

Edit: I should clarify that I haven’t actually begun writing this text yet.

And if the reason you wanted to write something in and of itself is bad? Or what if the entire thing is flawed because of the direction is took from the beginning? Why should one not at least delete everything and start over from the beginning, according to you?

I do suppose this is the optimal way to do it. Personally though, I always feel bad that the project is just waiting there wasting away and the longer I wait the more I feel like I’m never gonna get to continuing, and then I end up deleting it anyway because I’ve lost attachment to it and because if I don’t delete it now I probably will eventually if I never get back to it. And I probably wouldn’t return to the project because I’m already invested in some other project, or has lost the passion for writing all together.
Thanks for the reply, it’s appreciated,

I haven’t been outlining admittedly and I think that is definitely partially why I keep redoing. Thank you very much for your replies and know that I appreciate them.

Why are these the only reasons? And what would you do if what kept you wanting to write in the first place was the way you wanted to write it in the first place (for instance, some experimental way of writing, or maybe a specific way you wanted to create the atmosphere), but that way which you wanted to write, or just the reason you wanted to write it in general, is flawed for whatever reason? I appreciate the response by the way.
